How To Watch Bible Q-n-A On Your TV

Roku + Netflix = Instant Movies on your TV

Watching TV and videos online is becoming more and more popular. There are a whole host of devices available that allow you to watch Internet based videos on your TV. Everything from TVs to video game consoles and DVD players now have features designed for accessing the web. They range in price from from hundreds of dollars to the most affordable option, Roku ($59 +). Most of these devices allow you to watch Vimeo, which is the service I use to host my videos (click here is a list of Vimeo compatible devices).

I have a Rokuhooked up to my TV and it couldn’t be easier! I’ll give instructions for that and the others probably use a very similar process.

On your computer, go the Vimeo web site and create a new account – its free.

  • Go to Vimeo.com and select “Join Vimeo.”
  • Follow the instructions to sign up for a free account.
  • Go to Vimeo.com/PreacherNorm
  • Click on the “Subscribe” icon and select “subscribe to videos.”
  • Now you will get my videos directly in your Vimeo inbox.

On your TV, with your Roku box.

  • Go to the Roku Channel Store and add the free Vimeo app to your channel lineup.
  • Follow the instructions to link your Vimeo account to your Roku box.
  • Open your Vimeo inbox and you should see my videos ready to watch on your TV.
  • You can also search for “Norm Fields” from the Roku Vimeo app.

That’s it! Now invite your friends over for a Bible study using Bible Q-n-A, Vimeo and Roku.
